Rhode Island Real Estate Salespersons
- To renew your Real Estate Salesperson License in the state of Rhode Island, you are required to complete 18 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- 6 hours must be obtained from core courses covering Law of Agency, Law of Contracts, Fair Housing, Lead Hazard Mitigation, or RI License Law & Ethics. 12 hours may come from courses approved by the Real Estate Commission.
- Licenses shall expire every 2 years in even years. Continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
- Licensees are recommended to retain a record of continuing education completion.
